Attorney Jonathan Staehr is a shareholder in the firm of Hemming & Staehr, P.C.  Jonathan's practice focuses on employment related claims, specifically discrimination of employees based on race, age, sex, and ethnicity.  Jonathan also focuses on all areas of personal injury and negligence claims, including automobile accidents, lead based paint poisoning, slip and fall, and construction accidents.  In addition, Jonathan also represents clients in various real estate transactions, consumer and commercial disputes. 

Prior to forming Hemming & Staehr, P.C., Jonathan practiced law in both New York City and in Buffalo, New York.  While in New York, Jonathan practiced in the litigation department of a large international law firm representing Fortune 500 clients in various in a variety of employment, commercial, and contract matters.  While in Buffalo, Jonathan practiced in the regional office of a national law firm representing clients in connection with commercial and consumer bankruptcy, residential and commercial foreclosure, and commercial litigation.  Jonathan has experience in negotiation of settlements, restructuring financial obligations, and handling a case from its inception to trial. 

Jonathan was admitted to practice law in New York in 2002.  He is also admitted in U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York. 

Jonathan received his Juris Doctor in 2001 from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1995. 

Jonathan is a member of the Erie County Bar Association.
